RSD Symptom Decision Tree

RSD Symptom Decision Tree

When you feel something bubbling up inside of you, some sort of panic (it could be quiet or loud) building because of potential rejection in a relationship, stop, breathe, and ask yourself the following questions. The goal is to identify if we're responding to an internal fear or a genuine external event. Answer based on your first internal shift, not the later behavior, not your best day, and not the story you wish was true.
Rule 1: Pick the earliest shift
Rule 2: Pick what felt like safety

Decision

How to use this (quick)
  • Inward means: “I became the problem.”
  • Meaning assigned means: “My brain decided intent before facts.”
  • Action urge means: “Doing something felt safer than understanding.”
  • Final Gate is the decider: proportionate + confirmed = baseline.
Answer fast. If you debate it, you’ll lie to yourself.

Your Path

Tip: If you keep landing on “Baseline” but you still feel wrecked, the issue is usually not the logic. It’s the intensity, which is where VOI and the WES domains do the real work.
