Build Your Scope

This page helps you outline the type of consultation scope that may fit your organization. You can compare standard package options or build a scope step by step based on the services you want included.

If you are not sure where to begin, complete the readiness assessment at Excolo Readiness.

Start with the option that seems closest to where you want your organization to begin. This helps narrow the options shown below.

A La Carte

Choose only the pieces you want to include. Best when you already know which parts of the process matter most.

Core

Start with a focused, leadership-centered scope and a narrower set of options.

Core+

Start with a broader scope that includes more review, more structure, and more optional support.

Enterprise

Start with a broader organizational path for larger systems, multiple teams, or more complex internal structure.

“Participants” means the people completing the assessment. They can be the same people interviewed, or a broader group you want included in the data collected.
Discovery is an early review stage. It is used when an organization wants help clarifying what should be looked at before moving into deeper work.

These interviews help Excolo understand how leaders see the organization, where perspectives differ, and which issues need closer review. This can involve one owner, a small leadership team, or a broader executive or board group.
Standard Interviews
Shorter interviews used when a focused set of leadership input is sufficient.
Extended Interviews
Longer interviews used when more context, history, or operational detail needs to be reviewed.
These are structured meetings where Excolo reviews material with your team, answers questions, and helps leadership work through the information together.
Virtual Sessions
Remote sessions for reviewing findings, discussing priorities, or working through follow-up questions.
On-Site Sessions
In-person sessions for groups that want a longer working block or in-room facilitation.
These are optional reporting layers Excolo can add after assessment data has been collected. They do not replace the core summary. They organize or review the material in more detail for specific leadership uses.
Training support is used when an organization wants Excolo to provide additional instruction or follow-up review after the initial reporting stage.

Executive coaching is one-on-one support provided by Excolo for leaders who want ongoing review, discussion, or application support after the initial scope.

Number of On-Site Days Needed:

Core Engagement

  • What this is: A focused starting engagement used when an organization wants a clearer picture of what should be reviewed before taking on a broader scope.
  • What Excolo provides: A focused set of leadership interviews, CWES participation for the selected group, structured working sessions, and a leadership summary report.
  • When people choose it: Often chosen when a leadership team wants a defined starting scope without opening a wider organizational review yet.
  • Why someone might choose it: It provides a narrower, more structured starting point for review and discussion.

Core+ Engagement

  • What Excolo provides: A wider leadership review, CWES participation for the selected group, additional working sessions, and a deeper summary with more structured follow-up support.
  • When people choose it: Often chosen when leadership wants a deeper starting scope without moving all the way into a full enterprise-level review.
  • Why someone might choose it: It includes a broader review structure and more room for leadership follow-up than the standard core package.

Enterprise Engagement

  • What this is: A broader organizational engagement used for larger systems, multiple teams, or more complex internal structure.
  • What Excolo provides: A wider review of the organization, a broader data set, larger-scope reporting, and support designed for more complex internal coordination.
